Our Community Impact

Christmas Cares Program

The Mayfield–Graves County YMCA launched its Christmas Cares Program in December 2025, allowing local organizations to refer children in need and providing sponsored shopping trips for essential items and gifts. Through the generosity of local businesses, volunteers, and individual donors, the program ensures that children in our community experience a joyful and meaningful holiday season. The YMCA is grateful for the continued support that makes this initiative possible and remains committed to giving back through programs that strengthen local families.

Tornado Relief

Through our partnership with The Hope Initiative, we were able to distribute welcome packs to four families, with an additional two families benefiting from a generous donation from Walmart #410 in Murray, KY. These welcome packs contain essential kitchen and bathroom supplies, aimed at providing these families with the comfort and support needed as they embark on this new chapter of their lives.

Financial Assistance

At the Mayfield Graves County YMCA, we are committed to ensuring access to fitness, childcare, programs, and more for everyone in our community. That’s why we prioritize financial assistance. In 2023, we were able to provide $65,000 in financial assistance to our members. In 2024 alone, we’ve already offered approximately $17,000 in financial aid to our members, and we’re dedicated to extending this support further.

Discounted Childcare and Gym Memberships

Our childcare services and gym memberships not only come at a more affordable rate compared to our competitors but also offer the opportunity to join a gym dedicated to making a positive impact. With over 3,000 active members and more than 170 children enrolled in our childcare program, the Mayfield Graves County YMCA is a nonprofit organization committed to giving back to the community. Your support allows us to continue our mission of contributing to the well-being of our local area.
